According to her parent, Sivuyisiwe Soul fell ill while attending school in Adelaide and was rushed to Adelaide Hospital, accompanied by her teachers. However, the parent alleges that the attending doctor refused to provide medical assistance, claiming that the child was not ill and was pretending.
Despite teachers pleading with the doctor and insisting that the child was seriously unwell, the doctor reportedly maintained that there was nothing wrong with her.
It is further alleged that Sivuyisiwe was sent back to the school hostel in Adelaide. Upon arrival, she collapsed shortly after getting out of the vehicle and passed away on the spot.
The family has expressed deep frustration and anger, accusing the health department of repeatedly failing community members. The parent says these concerns have long been raised, but their cries have gone unheard.
The community has since been left in shock and mourning over the tragic loss of the young learner.
