Eastern Cape pastor rapes 12-year-old, forces second victim to terminate pregnancy

Matatiele: Hundreds of Mbizana local residents on Monday marched to the Magistrate Court to demand a no bail for a pastor who is accused of raping two girls aged 12 and 16, and for forcing one of the victims to terminate her pregnancy.

Pastor Malibongwe Gantsa of the Apostolic Vision allegedly raped the two girls repeatedly. Reports say that the 16-year-old got pregnant and Gantsa took her to St Patricks hospital where the pregnancy was terminated and a loop was inserted into the young girl.

The matter was reported to the police and the pastor was arrested. He was granted a bail of R2000. When he was out on bail it was discovered that he was busy raping the 12-year-old victim. Gantsa was again arrested on Saturday.
