Nosicelo Mtebeni’s alleged killer back in court today

25-year-old murder accused, Alutha Pasile is expected to appear before the East London Court on Thursday in relation to the murder of 23-year-old Fort Hare University law student, Nosicelo Mtebeni in August.

In his previous appearance, Pasile abandoned bail and also declined legal representative. The alleged killer is accused of murdering and dismembering his girlfriend’s body before stuffing it in a suitcase and dumping it in Quigney.

Pasile was arrested at his home nearby where black bags with more body parts, including Mtebeni’s head and hands, were discovered.

The gruesome discovery was made when a police patrol was alerted by a motorist.

The National Prosecuting Authority says he has also been charged with defeating the ends of justice.
