Coming back from mourning the death of two prominent doctors in town Matatiele has now been hit by another death of one of the well-known Reverends today. Rev. Thabo Samuel Mohale of the Uniting Presbyterian Church in Southern Africa died this morning. The news of his death has been confirmed to the informer by Session Clerk Elder Sabata Pro Dlodlongwana. Dlodlongwana told the informer that Rev. Mohale complained about back pains while he was still in bed this morning.

“When pains began to be serious one member of the church suggested that he must be taken to the doctor. Indeed he walked to his car, but to the surprise of those who were there, Rev. Mohale decided to take the passenger seat. He requested his son to drive him. Before the son could drive the car Rev. Mohale just said to him goodbye and closed his eyes. That was the end”, said Dlodlongwana. Re. Mohale has been leading the Springside Congregation of East Griqualand since 1996. He joined the congregation from his home in Linyenye Dzaneen. He has been the moderator and President of Men in the Church. Congregants are beginning to meet to pave the way forward for his sending off.
