The Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court is expected to present its judgement in the bail application of Victor Majola today.
Majola, 44, who is facing charges of murder, premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder allegedly pointed out Warrick Stock popularly known as Dj Warras moments before he was shot dead last month.
According to the State, Majola played a central role in planning the killing.
Investigating officer Captain Abe Montwedi said the events leading to the killing stemmed from a dispute over the management of Zambesi Flats.
Montwedo said while DJ Warras was speaking on the phone, a witness allegedly heard Majola speaking in isiZulu to the other two men, saying, “Nangu lomuntu.”
After DJ Warras ended the call , one of the men, described as wearing a rasta hat, allegedly shot him several times.
The three men fled the scene on foot, Montwedi said

Details belonging to DJ Warras and his partner were found on Majola’s cellphone, forming part of the evidence linking him to the crime.
