Desiree Ellis wins coach of the year award
Banyana Banyana head coach Desiree Ellis was honoured as the Women’s Coach of the Year for the fourth time at the 2023 CAF Awards in Marrakech, Morocco on Monday.
Among her achievements, Ellis steered Banyana Banyana to the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) and guided her side to the Last 16 of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
