DJ Maphorisa to appear in court for assaulting girlfriend
South African famous artist, DJ Maphorisa is expected to appear before the Randburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
This is after his partner, actress Thuli Phongolo laid assault chargers at Sandon Station on Sunday.
It is understood that Phongolo sustained visible injuries from the incident.
The South African Police Service’s Mavela Masondo said
“The suspect was arrested on Sunday 07 May 2023 – after a case of common assault was reported at Sandton Police Station. It is alleged that the suspect assaulted the victim at the apartment in Sandton on Sunday.”
