Four EC people die in a head-on collision

Eastern Cape’s department of transport Spokesperson Unathi Bonqose has reported that four people who were involved in a head-on collision involving an Avanza and a bakkie on the R61, at the Hange location in Tsomo, died on the scene.

According to Binqose, a Toyota Avanza from Comfimvaba side had three occupants, two males and one male, meanwhile, a Corsa bakkie was occupied by the driver only from Engcobo side, collided head-on, killing all four people on impact.

The cause of the accident, unknown at this stage.

A culpable homicide docket has been opened by Tsomo SAPS.
