Max’s owner recuperating in hospital after failed attempt on his life
Popular uMlazi’s Maxi Lifestyle Village, founder and owner, Max Nqadi survives an attempt on his life after being shot multiple times on Thursday evening. According to a media statement released by the company, two unknown gunmen ambushed Nqadi when he was leaving the business premises in the evening.” Mr Nqadi was shot at close range by unknown gunmen as he was leaving the renowned restaurant in uMlazi. ”
Nqadi was shot in his Mercedez Benze.
KZN police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbele, who said Mqadi had been shot after two assailants approached him.
He managed to speed away after the shooting, she said.
Nqadi turned his small butchery spot in Umlazi to one of the city’s most vibrant shisanyama establishments.
