Tlokoeng – The Mount Fletcher Community Voice (MFCV) has finally received its registration certificate from the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), marking a significant milestone in its quest to bring about change in Tlokoeng. The certificate was issued by the IEC yesterday, March 23, 2026.
Speaking after receiving the registration, MFCV Chairperson Mr. Patrick Mnumzana expressed his excitement, stating, “We are thrilled to finally be a registered political party. This is a dream come true for us, and we are now ready to take our fight for service delivery to the next level.”
Mnumzana emphasized that the registration enables MFCV to contest in all wards in Tlokoeng in the upcoming local government elections later this year. “As a political party, we will have more teeth and firepower to tackle the pressing issues affecting our community,” he said.
The MFCV has been at the forefront of advocating for improved service delivery in Tlokoeng, particularly with regards to water shortages, broken sewer systems, and lack of essential services. Mnumzana noted that although they were previously a Nonprofit organisation, they will now be able to take a more assertive approach. “We have been in the trenches, fighting for our community, but now we have the platform to make a real difference.”
MFCV’s registration comes as a beacon of hope for Tlokoeng residents, who have long suffered under poor service delivery. The party’s focus will be on relocating municipal offices from Nxanxaru to Tlokoeng, which Mnumzana believes will expedite service delivery.
Mnumzana announced that more details about the party’s vision and plans going forward will be shared at its official launch on Saturday, 28 March 2026, at the Roman Catholic Church Hall in Tlokoeng, starting at 10 am. With its newfound status, MFCV is poised to play a significant role in shaping the future of Tlokoeng.
