Mount Fletcher businessman uses TLB to demolish home over goats argument

A 36-year-old Eastern Cape homeowner was left stunned when a popular businessman in Mount Fletcher used a TLB to demolish his two-roomed house after he complained about his goats ransacking his garden, which he uses to plough vegetables to be able to put food on the table.
Mzonjani Nonono’s life was turned upside-down on Monday when a single phone call almost ended his life. This is after Nonono phoned businessman, Mantu Sawule, to inform him that his goats have ransacked his garden, little did he know he would be making a u-turn from meeting his creator.
According to Nonono, Sawule responded to his call saying that he is coming over to see the damage caused by his goats. On arrival Sawule allegedly threw insults at Nonono”Are you calling me for this nonsense?! I am coming back and I am going to teach you a lesson while walking out the premises leaving me astonished,” said Nonono.
While Nonono was still shocked by Sawule’s behaviour, Sawule came back driving a TLB. “He forced the TLB through the gate leaving the gate broken. “At the same time, Sawule was firing gunshots with live ammunition at me and I was running around the yard like a mad chicken dodging bullets left right and centre…
“After he got tired of running after me, he headed to my house and used the TLB to demolish it, while he was at it, the TLB overturned with him still inside it, however, he managed to get out and walked out the yard leaving it in my home,” said Nonono.

Responding to these allegations, Sawule denied any wrongdoing, instead accused Nonono of shooting him. “I am in the hospital as of this moment, I have been admitted for at least five days because the doctors are going to try and remove about two bullets stuck in my leg. I went over to his house to speak with him after his dogs injured my cow. He got angry and shot me instead,” said the businessman
Nonono denied these allegations saying that he does not even own a gun. “Yes, I know the incident about the cow. I was not even at home when his cow entered my yard. My dogs attacked his cow while it was in my yard. I offered to pay but he said no I must not. Since then there was peace between myself and Sawule until Monday’s incident where his goats entered my yard. He must tell the truth. The fact is that Sawule got injured after the TLB overturned with him.
Nonono has opened a case with the Phirintsu Police while Sawule is still planning to also open a case when he is discharged from the hospital.
