Murderer accused Katiso ‘KT’ Molefe high court case postponed

The pretrial hearing case involving controversial businessman, Katiso “KT” Molefe and his co-accused has been postponed to 12 March 2026 to allow for the disclosure of the contents of the docket and for pre-trial proceedings.

Molefe arrived in a bullet proof vest and made brief appearance this morning in the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court

NPA Gauteng spokesperson Magaboke Mohlatlole  alleges Molefe and his three co-accused Michael Pule Tau, Tiego Floyd Mabisela and Musa Kekana are accused of being the mastermind behind the assassination of DJ Sumbody.

“According to the State, forensic evidence allegedly links the high-calibre rifles used in DJ Sumbody’s murder to several other high-profile killings, including those of Hector Buthelezi (DJ Vintos), Don Tindleni and Armand Swart, as well as other incidents connected to a broader organised crime network.”

Tau, Mabisela and Kekana remain in custody, while Molefe is out on bail until the next court appearance.
