Founder of NFP Zanele kaMagwaza-Msibi passes away

 

Founding president of the National Freedom Party (NFP) and former Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Zanele kaMagwaza-Msibi has passed away.

NFP MP and close ally of Ka-Magwaza-Msibi, Achmed Shaik Emam said the late NFP leader died on Monday morning after she was hospitalised at Umhlanga Hospital in Durban.

“The National Freedom Party notes with sadness the untimely passing of our leader and President VZ Magwaza-Msibi who passed on today. Magwaza-Msibi is the founding member and leader of the party. Her untimely death is a great loss to the National Freedom Party and all South Africans at large.”

KaMagwaza served as a councillor in the Inkatha Freedom Party, became a member of parliament, however left the party due to squabbles.
