Gauteng government accompany’s the Queens remains to KZN

The remains of Queen Dlamini-Zulu on the way to KZN

This morning Premier David Makhura and MEC’s  Faith Mazibuko, Nomathemba Mokgethi, Mbali Hlophe, Jacob Mamabolo and Lebogang Mailejoin the Zulu and Swati Royal Families at the Hillbrow Mortuary, where they will depart from the to accompany her Majesty’s remains. The Kwazulu-Natal government will meet the provincial government halfway and receive her Majesty.

The Zulu royal has announced that Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu will be laid to rest on Thursday. Queen Mantfombi, who became regent just over a month ago after the death of King Goodwill Zwelithini, was reportedly unwell and had been hospitalised.
The Queen’s memorial service will be conducted on Friday at KwaKhangelamakenga, in NongomaGauteng governemt meets with the Swati Royal family ahead of the Queens remains transportation
