IEC to give ruling on whether to postpone local government elections or not

The Independent Electoral Commission will on Tuesday release its report on whether the local government elections will take place as planned during Covid-19. This is after political parties argued that the polls would be disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic, while others argued that the lockdown restrictions would hinder campaigning.
