Media personality Somizi Mlongo denies abuse allegations made by husband
Somizi Mhlongo has finally come out to defend his reputation amid physical abuse allegations. On his instagram account ,he denied abuse allegations made by his estranged Mohale Motaung.
The Sunday World tabloid reported that Mohale told producers that Somizi tried to kill him with a kitchen knife and hit him off the road with his car while he tried to flee. The couple had been arguing about about Mohale’s alleged cheating.
In instagram statement, Mhlongo denied the physical abuse allegations he has been smeared with by Mohale ”Our relationship had its ups and downs, but I have NEVER physically or knowingly abusive towards my estranged husband. I vehemently deny the allegations of criminal acts towards him and would like to clear my name on that defamation,” said Mhlongo
The SA Idols judge also rebuked claims that he attempted to murder Mohale during an altercation ” What is am going to state, however, we once had one altercation in which and I had to defend myself and both of us were physically hurt by the other. I am at this stage not at liberty to dive deeper into the details but can state that he is not a victim in this situation.”
Mhlongo , also said he is not going to discuss his bedroom life to the public. This is after Motaung accused the stardom of coercing him into group sex with strangers without his consent” There have publication of stories related to our sex life and a lot of what has been said is absolutely untrue. Theses are very personal private matters, and I would like to keep it at such,” said Mhlongo
The two are said to be in a process of divorcing after a mere year of marriage.
