Six die in a car accident near Tsitsikamma
Six people have died while two others sustained injuries in an accident involving a Toyota Rav 4 Suv and a Mini Cooper. The accident occurred on the N2 road near Tsitsikamma an about 17:30 yesterday.
According to Transport Spokesperson, Unathi Binqose, all the deceased were from the Mini Cooper – three adult females, two boys and one adult male.
The two injured persons, a male and a female – Switzerland tourists – escaped with minor injuries.
A case of culpable homicide has been opened for further investigations.
