Six die in a head-on taxi collision in the Eastern Cape roads

1. Matatiele: The department of transport in the Eastern Cape has reported that six people have died in an accident involving two taxis on the N9 between Graaff Reinet and Aberdeen on Thursday night.

According to the department’s Spokesperson, Unathi Binqose,  a Toyota Quantum ferrying passengers to the Western Cape Province collided with another taxi that had no passengers around 10 pm on Thursday . Six passengers died on the spot, while a nine months infant escaped unharmed.
