Two men die in a hail of bullets
Eastern Cape Police are investigating two cases of murder following two adult males who were shot and killed while driving in Mthatha. The report says on Monday at around 21:50 police responded to a shooting complaint at Hughes Street where an Amarok bakkie was found crashed against the wall of a shop near Nelson Mandela Drive.
Upon closer inspection of the vehicle, police noticed that it was riddled with bullet holes. Two males aged between 45 and 48, were found in the passenger and driver’s seats with several gunshot wounds. According to the police spokesperson Sergeant Kaya Matola –Mvanyashe no arrest was made and investigations continue. She urged anyone who has information about this incident to contact Crime Stop on 086 001 10111 or submit information through the MySAPS App. Matola-Mvanyashe stressed that callers can opt to remain anonymous.
