Orbit stun TS Galaxy in Betway Premiership clash

Orbit College FC delivered a clinical away performance to defeat TS Galaxy 2-1 in a Betway Premiership encounter on Tuesday evening.

Orbit made their intentions clear early in the match, pressing high and capitalising on defensive lapses from the hosts. Their breakthrough came in the 22nd minute when Gomolemo Khoto found space on the edge of the box and fired home a composed finish to give the visitors the lead.

The pressure continued to mount on Galaxy, and Orbit doubled their advantage in the 38th minute. Lesedi Alton Kapinga reacted quickest after a defensive mix-up inside the area, calmly slotting the ball past the goalkeeper to put his side firmly in control heading into the break.

Galaxy emerged stronger in the second half, showing more urgency in attack. Their efforts were rewarded in the 66th minute when Siphamandla Ngwenya pulled one back with a well-taken strike, reigniting hopes of a comeback for the home crowd.

Despite late pressure from the Rockets, Orbit’s defence remained disciplined and organised, successfully managing the closing stages of the match to secure all three points.

The victory marks an important result for Orbit College FC as they continue their campaign in the Betway Premiership, while TS Galaxy will be left frustrated after failing to convert their dominance into a positive outcome.

Orbit will look to build on the momentum in their next fixture, while Galaxy must regroup quickly to halt their inconsistent run of form.
