Orlando Pirates secured a dramatic 2–1 victory over Polokwane City in a thrilling Betway Premiership clash, thanks to a late winner from Tito Maswanganyi.
Pirates opened the scoring in the first half through Relebohile Mofokeng, who calmly finished to give the Buccaneers the early advantage.
Polokwane City responded later in the match and managed to level the score, setting up a tense finish between the two sides.
Just when the game appeared to be heading for a draw, Maswanganyi stepped up in the dying minutes of the match, scoring a decisive goal in the 90th minute to seal all three points for Pirates.
The dramatic victory ensures that Orlando Pirates remain at the top of the Betway Premiership standings as they continue their strong push in the title race
