Give us a chance, we will change the situation- says Ndlozi

EFF Member of the Central Command Team, Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has called upon the people of Matatiele to give EFF a chance so that they can change the lives of the people in the area. Dr Ndlozi was speaking in an interview with the informer after he addressed EFF candidates in one of the hotels in Matatiele on Tuesday. According to Ndlozi, the people of the Eastern Cape are in a dire situation.

“Eastern Cape province is the poorest in the country despite its people having fought for freedom. The funds released by Parliament that are meant to assist the people in the Province are misused by the ruling government officials. Currently, the Eastern Cape is leading with the highest unemployment with collapsing health system, flawed education system, with poor if not dilapidated schools in the remote areas”, said Ndlozi. He said if the people vote for them they will change all that.

“People of the Eastern Cape in their minds, have this mentality that when they vote, they are voting for Nelson Mandela. They need to realise that Mandela died a long time ago. But instead are voting for Ramaphosa, who is partially responsible for the murder of the 34 miners that were shot in Marikana for simply asking for a monthly living wage of R12 000,” said Ndlozi.

Ndlozi further said his political party does not need 25 years to change the dire living situation of black people’s lives “We are not asking for 25 years to change the lives of black people in the country but a chance to fight the ANC thugs in municipalities,”. said Ndlovu.

The EFF is known for advocating for land expropriation with compensation. Commenting on the land being under the traditional leaders in the rural areas, Ndlozi said” Traditional leaders do not own the land, they are rather the custodians of the land. They must ensure that people especially the youth and women have access to the land. However, the land we are targeting is the one that was forcefully taken by the former government from black people,” concluded Ndlozi.
