Above-normal rainfall is forecast for eastern and south-eastern coastal areas, raising concerns about flooding and waterborne diseases, while the south-western regions may face below-normal rainfall and potential water shortages.
SAWS has urged communities to stay alert, practice water conservation, and take precautions against heat-related health risks.
