The girlfriend of Lekompo artist Shebeshxt has appealed for his release, urging fans to support a bail petition.
Kholofelo Chuene shared a TikTok video calling on supporters to rally behind the musician, whose real name is Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, and give him “one last opportunity” to be granted bail.
The rapper remains in custody following an alleged road rage shooting in Polokwane in October 2025, where a motorist was seriously injured. He faces charges including attempted murder, illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, and malicious damage to property.
Bail was denied in December 2025 and a subsequent appeal was dismissed in January 2026, with police opposing his release due to his previous legal troubles.
The case has been postponed to May 15, 2026.
