Mamelodi Sundowns return to Betway Premiership action on Tuesday (kick-off 7:30pm) with little room for error as they travel to Rustenburg to face Orbit College FC at Olympia Park Stadium.
Sundowns head into the match trailing log leaders Orlando Pirates by just one point, making the encounter crucial in the race for the top spot.
Head coach Miguel Cardoso believes his team has grown stronger as the season has progressed.
“We got stronger and brought in players who made us stronger,” Cardoso said. “We are more committed than ever and the players are training harder than ever. Now our focus is simply on the next match and making sure we win.”
The Brazilians will be eager to secure maximum points to keep pressure on Pirates as the Betway Premiership title race intensifies.
