Several people have been left scrambling what is left to rebuild their lives after a hailstorm accompanied by heavy rains demolished their homes on Thursday afternoon in Matatiele.
It only took approximately 30 minutes for the storm to create a lifetime havoc.
The villages that are affected amongst others include, Masakala, Motsekua, Maluti.
Disaster officials from Alfred Nzo are on the way to Maluti to assess the situation
Cllr Khanyisa Mazwi confirmed that some families were left homeless
He further added that those affected will be relocated to a temporary shelter
