Western Cape police are investigating three counts of murder following a shooting at a taxi rank in Delft on Thursday morning.
Police responded to the incident on Delft Main Road in Voorbrug at about 06:15, where they found two men, aged 55 and 58, with gunshot wounds. Both were declared dead at the scene. A third victim, aged 38, later died in hospital.
Preliminary reports indicate that shots were fired from a Toyota Quantum that stopped at the taxi rank before fleeing.
Detectives from the Provincial Serious and Violent Crime Unit are investigating, with the motive believed to be possibly linked to the taxi industry.
