The Eastern Cape police are on the hunt for murder suspects after three male bodies were discovered in Tholeni Location outside Butterworth.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Siphokazi Mawisa, the three males aged between 35 and 44 years were found by a community member who alerted the Police on Tuesday morning, 27/01 at about 06h45. “On their arrival at the crime scene police discovered three bodies with gunshot wounds on their upper bodies next to Cunningham bridge, Tholeni Location.”
No arrest has been made.
Three counts of murder case have been opened for investigation.
Police are appealing to the public to assist with any information that can lead to the arrest of the suspect/s to contact the Provincial Serious and Violent crime investigation unit Detective Colonel Nceba Mtshiyo on 071 475 2292 or SAPS Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or report to any nearest police station.
