Two suspects were shot dead in a gunfight with KwaZulu-Natal Police Service (SAPS) in Inanda earlier today.
Police recovered two firearms at the scene. One of the deceased has been linked to over ten murder cases, including a recent incident over the past weekend. Both suspects are believed to be members of a notorious gang operating in the area.
The operation involved multiple units, including the SAPS Provincial Tracing Team, Inanda SAPS Task Team, Sydenham SAPS Trio Task Team, SAPS KZN Crime Intelligence, and the security partner SA Tactical Enforcement.
